Life Choice
Read the beautiful Scripture in Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
Now be still with a blank piece of paper, pray and ask God what hard choices you may need to make in order to do his will. [/column] [column class="post_column_nar_2" width="24%" padding="1%" fontfamily="Trebuchet MS,Helvetica,sans-serif"]

Prayer
Triumphant Runner!
I pray that you will not grow tired or weary of the race that is set before you. You have been designed by God to succeed and to fulfill a calling that is only yours and no one else’s. I pray that you will throw aside every weight and sin that would so easily entangle you and slow you down. In the name of Jesus you will run in the freedom and power that have been given to you by His great sacrifice. You are more than a conqueror in Jesus, and I pray that you will strive for the excellence you have been called to and that you will succeed.
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Hi Sheri,
I just want to thank you so much for your encouragement daily. I started reading your book “Fit for my King” the day after Christmas and went on the fast. I also started exercising and so far I’ve lost 10 lbs. I feel great! Not only Physically but spiritually as well. I don’t feel bloated anymore and I have more energy too. I’m on day 32 and I don’t miss sugar at all. Sometimes I miss the breads but I get my fix by buying whole grain or gluten free crackers. Can you recommend any breads that don’t have white sugar or flours? I want to continue on the healthy path and do it for life, like you said, to take care of His temple, not mine. Now that the focus is not on me, I don’t worry about the number on the scale. I’m just thankful that the Lord is helping me break free from this food bondage. I want to encourage and help others also and let God take the Glory. He is awesome. May our Lord continue to bless you Sheri and all my other sister in Christ too.
Can we freeze those Fruit : pineapple, mango. papaya, pears, honeydew, watermelon,
apricots.
What vegetables can we freeze ?
please let me know .
Thank you
Elsie
I had my annual women’s well-check appointment today and I was talking to my doctor about this new diet/life-style change I’ve started. She was so happy for me and although I told her that I have a ways to go before getting the daily regimen down, she encouraged me and said that I was taking care of my body the right way instead of choosing the unhealthy route of assorted medications and drastic weight reducers. It was a blessed day!
Today has been absolutely amazing. For the first time in my life, I believe that true victory over my eating is possible and attainable. Your tips in the last week and a half for craving are absolute treasures. The clouds of pessimism and doubt parted today and the rainbow of God’s promise stretched across
my day. This whole program is such an answer to prayer. I have been doing the program for a week and I have lost weight. But it is so — so much more than that I know that it is an answer to prayer. Sheri Rose you have already been such a blessing to my life. I know this is a stretch and
a stress doing a new project along with the responsibilities of wife and of mom, but may God richly bless you for being obedient to His will.
love always,
your sister in Christ
Sheri! Thank you so much for this wonderful daily coaching! I look forward every morning to hear what the Lord has spoken to you to share with us. Thank you for your obedience & words of life. I have been on a similar eating change for 16 days now & your program has given me great confirmation. Your recipes, affirmations, prayers, songs, and scriptures speak volumes to me & truly break any confusion or discouragement the enemy tries to trick me with! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
praise the Lord you have victory!
One of my favorite scripture is Herbrews12…I’m keeping this on an index card – with your prayer on the other side…I will be praying this during my noon break for us all on this study and you and your team leading us…Going forward, not looking back! Thank you, Sheri!
For me the benefits of living a purpose driven life is much more then I can determine… when we live according to God’s purpose for us, we touch not only our families, we touch everyone we come in contact with, when we are doing the will of God each and every day He lives through us and I don’t think we will ever know the true impact of our lives while we are here on earth, I do believe that when we come face to face with our Master we will be astonished by the difference we made in the earth by being obedient to our KING. But I will say having the PEACE of God that surpasses all understanding is one of the greatest benefits of a purpose driven life….love you!
MOVING FORWARD…AMEN!!!
I found a bar that I really like at the health food store called the Perfect Foods Bar. The flavor is peanut butter. Have you heard of it? I was wondering if it is ok? It says its gluten free and has no refined sugar. It has 306 calories but I usually divide it up in 3 portions.
Yes that bar is awesome
Let all mistakes be used as tutorors, but don’t use them to beat yourself up, I really like that. The benefits for me are serving my children, and my husband. I have a teenager, and an autistic child, a five year old girl, and a toddler. I m with them all day, every day. My husband and I are the only family that they have because of long distance family and because my mother in law passed away. I know the Lord has plans for us, His thoughts of our family are of peace and not of evil, to bring us to a future and a hope. My desire is to be spiritually healthy for my children, and to have energy to teach them in the ways of the Lord. I have to constantly be meditating on scriptures such as, I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me. Or, he will keep you in perfect peace, who’s mind is fixed on him. I want to soar on wings like eagles. I know the Lord has given me a second chance to make that difference in my life, for the sake of sharing the gospel, and for leading my children to the water of life. The Joy of the Lord is my Salvation! I am praying today, that the Lord restores the Joy of my salvation in Him. \O/
I know~~~We need to slow down and hear God’s word and not our own~~~
I love doing this with ya all~~
I am so happy to eat healthy and good~~
I feel so happy~~
I love your reminder that my ministry/my purpose is whatever is in front of me today. We’re working through “Experiencing God” (by Blackaby) in our Women’s Bible Study at church, and in it the author makes the point that God is love and His main purpose is drawing others into a love relationship with Him and into a deeper love relationship with Him. And if that is His main focus, my focus needs to be exactly that – loving those around me and helping draw them closer to God. I need to place a high priority on loving my kids as they are the people in front of me most days, and this plan is really giving me more energy to devote to playing with them and focusing on them. Thank you!
I’m moving forward from needing everything perfect. I’m moving forward toward celebrating the changes I have made and am making. I’m not doing it exactly the way its been taught, yet i am doing it in a way that I can and will follow it throughout my life.
Psalm 20:4; Psalm 91 to myself and fellow online coaching camp viewers!
I just watched your Bible coaching for today and it opened my eyes to see that I have not been exercising for my king but instead to try and achieve a body that the world says it a healthy body. I have been focused on what the scale says, how the mirror defines me and every time I look at myself I find something else that I don’t like. Please help me understand how you are able to love who god created. I me t you at the women of faith conference in Rockford and you were such a blessing to me. I still struggle with my appearance and weight because I just want to see results and get mad when I don’t see them as fast as I want to. Any advice would be beneficial because I feel so trapped and know that if I dont stop it now I will end up a unhealthy 99lbs anorexic girl again.
I love what you’ve said today. Thank you. I always feel satisfied when I know I have lived my purpose for the day. I’m more productive, my family is happier and I’m happier.
Oh how precious is His Word! I believe living a purpose-driven life is striving to love God, love His Word, and love others through the power of His Word. But we can only do this as we receive…meaning read and accept/receive what He is teaching us…apply it through the grace of Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit. As we do this, HE changes our perspective on this nasty world and on the failures of past hopes and dreams! He begins to show us this world through His eyes and we begin to “run in the freedom and power” that Christ gave us through His sacrifice on the Cross. He brings us hope and a dream to strive for. This is living “ON PURPOSE” and with a purpose. If we live only within ourselves, we continue to “die” inside. God calls us to “LIVE”! Praising the Lord for His truth and power!
Love what wrote. It is so true we must live on purpose!! God never disappoints us
amen to that
I am so excited & motivated to be doing this diet for my King instead of just for me. I have done The Maker’s diet in the past. While I am eating much of the same foods as I did then, I am finding that the foods taste so much better & I am so much happier to be eating the foods my Maker has created for me because I am doing it for His glory & His purpose! I am so at peace.
I will move forward. Today I will let go of the anger that seems to spew forth when I least expect it and come out of my mouth in the form of ugliness. I will shine only God’s light. If I find that anger welling up inside of me I will find a quiet place and have a moment of prayer with Jesus. I will try to understand why it is so hard for me to give up the things that harm me inside and out. Why I try to sabotage my own victory through Jesus in the area of food, bodily image. Thank you Lord Jesus for all that you continue to do to help me find my purpose in this life. May I glorify your name today.
Thank you for the reminder — to move in the direction of the purpose God has for me. More energy will help me serve my King with enthusiasm — something that is in short supply when I’m drained by poor food choices! A side benefit of giving up unhealthy, unnatural foods is that it makes me more creative in the kitchen, such fun!
