Session 7: Kitchen Coaching & Recipes

Precious Girls of God,

I am often asked, “How did you break free from your painful past, your poor choices, your food addiction?” My answer is, I had to fight the lies I believed about myself and saturate myself with God’s Truth to find a my True Identity in Christ.
Many times the biggest battles we women fight are the lies we speak and believe about ourselves. I know hurtful words don’t go away so easily and it is hard to find healing from the wounds caused by others. However, it is even more painful to watch our daughters and granddaughters battle the same lies we do. If we don’t learn to walk in God’s truth, we will leave a legacy of lies for our own children…TODAY I would love to lead you through a Truth Makeover.

Love Your Coach,
Sheri Rose

Breakfast:

Lunch: Eat with your favorite veggies like carrots, celery, jicama, or sliced cucumbers.

Dinner:

Soul Food

1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen group of people. You are the King’s religious leaders. You are a holy nation. You belong to God. He has done this for you so you can tell others how God has called you out of darkness into His great light.”

Food Coaching

~Peel lemons, limes and oranges, put them in baggies and freeze them for smoothies.

Life Choice

Whenever a lie is spoken to you or enters your mind, speak this phrase to yourself out loud: “That is a lie. The truth is…”
Try a seven-day fast by not speaking anything negative about yourself or repeating any lies that have been spoken over you or about you. If possible, ask a friend to hold you accountable to speak only truth.

Truth

God takes what is broken and makes it into something beautiful.

Prayer

My Lord,
I desperately need you to heal my heart from all the lies that have been spoken to me. Teach me day by day as I sit with you reading your word what my true identity is. I am ready to trade all the lies for your truth. I am ready to allow you to renew my mind and refresh my spirit once again. Thank you for never giving up on me even when I give up on myself.
Your Princess,
 who loves your Truth

Love Letter

I believe if God, your heavenly Father, wrote you a personal love letter from heaven it might read something like this:

Beloved Princess…
You are royalty even when you don’t feel like a princess. How you feel about yourself will never change the truth of who you are in Me. You are My treasure, and I have chosen you. If you ever begin to doubt your significance, just look to the cross and remember I gave my life to prove your worth. I see your heart and I know you fight to find truth. So start by recognizing who I am: the King of Kings and Lord of Lords — and your Daddy in heaven. Saturate yourself in My truth and you will discover how loved and treasured you are.

Love,
Your Lord who is Truth
